Purpose: To free up restrictions in the spleen region by performing the core pump in various postures.
Schedule: Perform Organ Region Mobility Exercise Stages 1 - 4 together in one session.
Start: Begin by sitting down in a comfortable, upright position with your feet placed firmly on the ground.
Step 1: Place your left and right hands as follows:
Left Hand: position behind your left ribcage.
Right Hand: place over your left ribcage to cover your spleen.
Step 2: Exert gentle pressure between your hands so that you can feel your hands and body move as one piece. Bend the spleen region forward, and perform the Core Pump three times in your spleen region. Bend further forward and repeat.
Step 3: Repeat Step 2, this time bending the spleen region backward.
Step 4: Repeat Step 2, this time turning the spleen region to the right.
Step 5: Repeat Step 2, this time turning the spleen region to the left.
Step 6: Repeat Step 2, this time side-bending the spleen region to the right.
Step 7: Repeat Step 2, this time side-bending the spleen region to the left.
End: Rest when all steps have been completed.
Observe: You may feel improved breathing in the left chest region and more freedom in your left arm movements. Also notice a more even weight distribution of your legs during your normal gait.
Progress: Continue on to Organ Region Mobility Exercise Stage 3.
